Kenya McKnight-Ahad, founder and chief executive of Black Women’s Wealth Alliance, recently purchased a West Broadway Avenue building which will be reshaped into the ZaRah, a community hub for health and wellness. The ZaRah will feature multiple spaces and include massage, acupuncture, a spa, as well as maternal support.
Kenya has a clear and compelling vision for the future of North Minneapolis, and the ZaRah will be a catalyst for her creativity and drive as an entrepreneur; her goal with the ZaRah project is to keep health and wellness services in North Minneapolis, as over $20 million annually leaves the North Side for these services.
The Element team is helping Kenya deliver her strong and bold vision. Through financial feasibility analysis, development consulting, and owner’s representation services, we are looking to begin construction on the project in 2023.
