In November 2024, Francis expanded its plant-based burger empire with the opening of a second brick-and-mortar location at the corner of East Lake Street and 39th Avenue in the Longfellow neighborhood. This new space, formerly home to Peppers & Fries, was secured with the expert assistance of Element’s Aaron Meyers, showcasing a continued partnership between Francis and Element.

Building on the success of their flagship location in Northeast Minneapolis, Francis brings their iconic plant-based burgers, crispy fries, chicken sandwiches, sides, and homemade sauces to the vibrant Longfellow community. The new East Lake location mirrors the welcoming energy and inventive menu that earned Francis recognition, including a #19 spot on Yelp’s list of the 100 Best Vegan Restaurants.

Open daily from 12 PM to 10 PM, the East Lake location offers a prime gathering spot for locals and visitors, featuring the same commitment to quality and creativity that has made Francis a Twin Cities favorite. For weekend brunch enthusiasts, Francis’s Northeast location continues to serve brunch from 10 AM to 3 PM.
