Kate brings over two decades of experience as a landscape architect, seamlessly blending technical expertise with a deep commitment to community-driven development. Her career has spanned consulting, public agency work, teaching, and managing large-scale riverfront redevelopment for the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. Coming from TLALLI Collaborative, she has worked at the intersection of community, government, and real estate, guiding projects that prioritize people, place, and sustainability.
Kate thrives on navigating complex implementation processes, ensuring community visions are thoughtfully realized. Her approach is rooted in deep listening, relationship-building, and meticulous project management. She has a strong track record of creating innovative, impactful solutions that align with Element’s mission of shaping inspiring spaces. Having already collaborated with JoAnna and Kristen on past projects, she has demonstrated her ability to bring creative, effective solutions to complex challenges. She is eager to expand her knowledge of development and real estate processes, and we are excited to support her growth in this space. Her passion for nurturing healthy and thriving urban neighborhoods aligns seamlessly with Element's values, making her a fantastic addition to our team.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She loves when her passions for gardening and urban greening intersect with her professional work and enjoys fresh, local food from urban agriculture and farmers markets.
