The Coven, a dynamic co-working space for women and non-binary individuals, signed a lease to create their second location in St. Paul’s Cathedral Hill. The new space will be a two-story headquarters for The Coven, providing co-working, private offices and event space with compelling programming and an unparalleled sense of community. The Blair Arcade completed a major renovation of the commercial areas last year led by The Excelsior Group with assistance from Roehr + Schmitt (design) and Element (leasing + strategy). With this transaction, the occupancy of the building will be at 90% with only two small spaces remaining.
The Coven’s four founders will join more than ten other female business owners at The Blair Arcade, where 80% of the businesses are either owned or led by women.
Another fun fact: the deal was brokered entirely by women, including The Coven’s broker, Tiffany Leigh Brace, and The Blair Arcade’s broker, JoAnna Hicks, and the landlord representative, Jill Kiener, of The Excelsior Group. The new space is being designed by Studio BV, an award winning architectural firm led by Betsy Vohs.
