Element proudly supported Shinebox, a creative agency and recent B-Corp designee, in finding their perfect new home at 401 N 1st Ave in Minneapolis’ revitalized Warehouse District. Shinebox sought more than just additional office space; they were looking for a setting that would reflect their community values and foster growth, collaboration, and creativity. After securing their first office in the North Loop for several years, Shinebox was ready to expand their impact with an inspiring location in the heart of First Avenue.
With extensive market expertise and key relationships, Senior Advisor Aaron Meyers led our tenant advisory services to support Shinebox in finding a stunning new space that aligns with their creative vision and community values. The new space features polished concrete floors, exposed beams, a state-of-the-art digital screen wall for events, and a welcoming lounge and bar area ideal for client gatherings. As a tribute to the building’s history, a replica of the iconic Nate's Clothing neon blade sign hangs prominently from a central beam, honoring the legacy of the space's previous iconic retailer. A striking open staircase leads downstairs to the heart of Shinebox’s creative work, including their newly launched Shinebox Studio. The lower level is equipped for modern production needs, featuring a podcast room, collaborative work areas, private offices, and a second kitchen for employees—all illuminated by natural light from upper windows.
Shinebox’s new office is more than a move; it’s a statement that adds to the neighborhood’s growth. Element is honored to support them in building a future-focused environment that fuels the energy and creativity of the Warehouse District.
